This little piece was inspired by the soft plaid wool and the dusty purple linen fabrics which I had just purchased from a local fabric shop. Other fabrics composed the collage elements with dyed cheesecloth.  I added free motion quilting, hand embroidery and beading—including some acrylic flowers and lapis birds.
