This was an experimental piece quite out of my usual style of working. The organic nature of this piece was influenced by the fabric I manipulated using a technique where you adhere it to a piece of fusible interfacing maintaining random pleats and folds in the fabric (the bright pink). Since I chose to the bright animal pictorial fabrics I continued the brightness with some feathery yarns couched on and some threadpainting using bright threads.
