I made this piece to enter into a juried show called “Art Meets Science” but it did not get accepted. I used Angelina to create the moon shapes. The piece shows the unique situation that the moon is something studied and revered by both scientist and artist alike and that it is both modern and primitive at once. There are shiny metallic looking beads as well as primitive carved bone beads on the piece representing the juxtaposition of the modern and primitive.
